The Honorable Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN has commended the people of Kebbi State for their impressive turn out at the Local Government Councils election conducted today.
Malami who was speaking shortly after he casted his vote at Filin Mariya polling boot in Birnin-kebbi, enjoins candidates and their Supporters to accept the outcome of the election in good faith and in the spirit of sportsmanship.
The Minister further eulogised Kebbi State Independent Electoral Commission for proper preparations and arrangements which according to him led to the conduct of free, fair and credible election.
The Minister who participated actively in the exercise commended the electorate for conducting themselves peacefully and commended women folk for turning themselves enmass during the election.
Malami was accompanied by Special Assistant to President Office of the Attorney General of the Federation Dr Umar Jibrilu Gwandu, Hon Aliyu Tanko Nasarawa, Khadimiyya Administrative Secretary Barr Faruku Abubakar Maisudan, National Treasurer Bello Muhammad Nassarawa, National Publicity Secretary Ibrahim Abubakar Jombali, Youth and women coordinator Abubakar Ardo, Khadimiyya and Kadi Malami Foundation Staff.
