Al-Iman Charity Foundation

The word Al – Iman is an Arabic word meaning Faith, therefore, Al – Iman Charity Foundation is a charitable organization/foundation established in October, 2019. As its beautiful name implies Al – Iman Charity Foundation genuinely and faithfully assists the less privileged, the weaklings, the have – nots and the down –trodden.

Al-Iman Charity Foundation (ACF) incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission under Part C of the Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990 as a foundation on the 6^th of February, 2020.

To serve individuals and families to end hunger, poverty and illiteracy through educational support, healthcare, economic empowerment and community infrastructure.

Skill Acquisition Training of Women and Youth Empowerment Program

Given the fact that women constitute the largest chunk of the have – nots, they naturally become the major targets for assistance. Nevertheless, men – folks are not being discriminated, they too are being carried along.

Al – Iman Charity Foundation is the brain – child of Hajia Fatima Abubakar Malami the wife of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (2015 – Date). Despite her current social status Fatima remains humble, gregarious and philanthropic.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project focuses on women and youth empowerment in Kebbi State. The Project works towards developing the entrepreneurship skills of the Kebbi State people so as to get them out of the cycle of poverty.

PROJECT VISION:

The Project aims to contribute towards the reduction of unemployment, among the youth and women, through the creation of employment opportunities in a number of areas, including Tailoring, Computer, Catering, Cosmetics and so many others. The direct beneficiaries of the Project are the 3,000 women and youths targeted in ten (10) of the 21-local governments of Kebbi State.

COVID-19 RELIEF FUNDS
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project supported families and individual who have been hit hard by Covid-19 global pandemic. Through the funds raised, food items and cash where given to the beneficiaries to ease the impact of the pandemic.

PROJECT VISION:

The Project aims to help five hundred (500) household withs some food items and five thousand Naira (N5000) cash.

Donation of Palm Wood trees to Cemetery
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project – Donation of Palm Wood trees to cemetery- was designed to donate five hundred (500) timbers of palm wood tree to Illela Yari cemetery in Birnin-Kebbi.

PROJECT GOAL:

The primary goal of this project is to provide available number timbers of palm wood tree required by the Cemetery monitoring committee to meet the demand of the public.
Ramadan Feeding Program-Cooked Iftar
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

During the last Ramadan, COVID 19 pandemic and resultant lockdown and other restrictions pushed many Muslim families below survival threshold. This project provided relief, joy and happiness to the most vulnerable, deprived and disadvantageous people to give them a sense of living and strengthen Islamic morals.

PROJECT Goal:

The goal of this project is to feed 100 most vulnerable people every day during iftar for 30days of 1441AH (2020) Ramadan.

Borehole Construction
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project is to build a borehole in a community Islamiya School in Birnin-Kebbi named Dharul Huda.

PROJECT GOAL:

The project’s goal is to give more than 1000 people access to clean water. This includes students and teachers at the school and surrounding family members who live close to the school.

DISTRIBUTION OF FREE ANTENATAL DRUGS AND INSECTICIDE TREATED MOSQUITO NETS (ITNs)
Project Summary

Malaria is a tropical disease of public health important. It is cause by Plasmodium parasites and transmitted through the bite of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes.

The use of the insecticide treated mosquito is considered one of the most cost-effective preventive intervention against malaria.

In an effort to reduce the incidence of malaria among pregnant women and children with support from donor partner Malami Health Foundation (MHF-Lafiya Sak) free distribution of Antenatal drugs and 25,000 insecticide treated mosquito campaign was launched in Kangiwa, Arewa local government area of Kebbi State by the founder Hajiya Fatima Abubakar Malami.

PROJECT GOAL:

The primary goal of this project is to reduce the incidence of malaria among pregnant women and children by this distribution 25,000 ITNs and ANT in 21 local government areas of Kebbbi State.

Orphan Welfare Project
Sub-project 1: SALLAH CLOTHING FOR 100 ORPHANS

Sub- project 2: SALLAH WALIMA CELEBRATION & PACKAGE DISTRIBUTION FOR 100 ORPHANS.

This project organized walima provided cloth to 100 orphans.

PROJECT Goal:

The goal of this project is to provide relief, joy and happiness to target orphans by providing them with cloth, funds, Toys and other materials.
